May 17, 2014- SILVER SPINGS FLORIDA

 Today we are at Silver Springs State Park, the campsite is nice and Tweety is happy. He had to travel almost 3 hours today.

 The State of Florida has purchased the Silver Springs and the water park next door.

 The entrance walkway was very pretty

The glass bottom boat was built in 1962 and still gives rides.

You can see the glass bottom. The water is so clear you can see down 81 feet.

 This one of the many openings where millions of gallons come out.

 This tree grew around in a circle. To have your picture taken in the middle will give you 5 years good luck.

 Becky is good for five years

 The grounds had some beautiful flowers, here a canis look very nice

 Here is another example of some of the flowers on the grounds.

Here a squirrel (Phil) is eating a nut.

 

Glad we stopped at Silver Springs, it was a good day.
