May 14, 2014- LEAVING PUNTA GORDA STAYING OCAR SCHERER DAY ONE OF THE TRIP

Tweety is hooked up to the van, Frosty, and ready to go. The shutters are all on and we are ready for the adventure. We will go only 40 miles today to launch our trip to Ohio via Texas and points unknown.\

Our good neighbors Jim and Marge Book told us about Pop's Sunset grill in Nokomis and we tried it. I had a grouper Ruben and it was great.

We went swimming at Nokomis beach and it was great.

Tweety is very comfortable in his first camp site at Oscar Shearer State park. This is a very nice small park close to every thing from the beach to thrift shops.
